Welcome to Random WTF Lyrics where I pick seven random bad lyrics from seven random songs. Yes, I said that correctly. Seven. Now let’s get started.
In spite of recently becoming a Lady Gaga fan, there are still songs from her that bugs the hell out of me, including this one.
Let’s have some fun,
This beat is sick
I wanna take a ride on your disco stick
I bet you can’t guess what this song is about. Huh? Huh?
Don’t think too much just bust that kick
I wanna take a ride on your disco stick
No one will be able to figure out what this song is about. That is a work of genius. On a serious note, this is embarrassing. Anyone with a brain can figure this out instantly. Disco stick? How unsubtle can you be, Gaga? For someone like her, this is WAY below her talent levels. She might was well write:
penis penis penis penis penis penis penis…… penis
2012 (It Ain’t The End)-Jay Sean ft Nicki Minaj
A little context: there was a time where people thought the world was gonna end on December 21, 2012. There was even a whole movie about it (directed by the same guy behind Independence Day). Because nothing happened during and after December 21, any references to the end are now laughable.
Party like it’s the end of the world
We gonna party like, like it’s 2012
Basically, you’re partying like it’s every year. This song was released in 2010 and now, it’s dated as hell.
E.T.-Katy Perry ft Kanye West
They’re callin’ me an alien a big headed astronaut
Maybe it’s because your boy Yeezy get ass a lot
What does promiscuous sex have to do with being an astronaut? Normally, astronauts spend days or weeks in outer space with no physical contact with others. You’re just in isolation with other astronauts. Maybe Kanye is implying that astronauts get a lot of pussy.
astronaut: Hey, ladies. I was on the moon about a week ago.
*women moans and panties drop*
astronaut: Wanna come ride on my space shuttle? Oh, yeah.
Imma disrobe you
Then Imma probe you
See I’ve abducted you
So I’ll tell you what to do
I tell you what to do (what to do, what to do)
Uhhmm… I don’t know about you people, but to me, this sounds like rape. Seriously, Kanye. What the hell?
When The Children Cry-White Lion
No more presidents
And all the wars will end
So in order for ALL of the wars of the world to end, all of the presidents have to quit? This song is basically saying that wars are not caused by conflicting opinions on politics, religion, economics, etc., but because of the President.
The President: My fellow Americans. With the eminent threat of war looming over us, I am here to declare my resignation as President of the United States. It’s the only way to stop all of the wars of the world. I hope you understand that a drastic decision like this was necessary. Thank you and God bless America.
*total chaos and anarchy all across the country*
Let It Go-Wiz Khalifa ft Akon
No, this isn’t Wiz Khalifa doing a cover of the Idina Menzel song from Frozen, though that would be funny.
And now all these haters looking at me pitifully
Cause I’m the shit, literally
WOW!! Just… wow. Throughout the time I started doing Random WTF Lyrics, I have seen a lot of cases of lyrical backfire, but THIS. This has to be the best one I have ever came across. You know how rappers like to use the “I’m the shit” metaphor to reference how cool they are? It’s been done so many times that I start thinking that they’re actually talking about being shit (Lil Wayne is guilty of using this metaphor WHILE referencing doo-doo). Then comes Wiz Khalifa, who comes out and says, “I am literally defecation.” Congratulations, Wiz. You have unlocked the achievement of ultimate FAIL.
Normally, Random WTF Lyrics would end at this point, but I want to address something for a moment. There’s not gonna be any joking or humor, just straight-up serious talk. Because there is nothing to joke about with what I’m going to say. The last two songs I’m gonna talk about are songs I wanted to talk about on this site for a while, but couldn’t find a perfect opportunity until now. Those songs are UOENO and Karate Chop.
UOENO-Rocko ft Future & Rick Ross
Put Molly all in her champagne, she ain’t even know it
I took her home and I enjoyed that, she ain’t even know it
Karate Chop-Future ft Lil Wayne
Beat that pussy up like Emmett Till
Where to start? I know. Let’s look at UOENO first. Yeah, Rick Ross is talking about date rape, there no question about it. My biggest problem with this line is not the fact that he said it, but it’s the way he said it and how he treated it. He thought it was just another brag and just glanced over it like it was nothing. Then, when people were outraged and started protesting, Ross gave a half-assed explanation where he says that he doesn’t condone rape and that he was misconstrued WITHOUT explaining what the line was about. He wasn’t being honest (though Rick Ross always had a bad history of honesty), which makes the line even worse. What else was that line supposed to be about? And before anyone jumps to Ross’ defense and tries to say he wasn’t implying rape, read those lyrics again. He put a drug in a woman’s drink without her knowing and he had sex with her without her consent. How is that NOT rape? Now for Karate Chop. Of all the stupid ass things Lil Wayne has said over the years, this takes the cake. For those who don’t know, in 1955, Emmett Till was a 14 year old black kid who after talking to a white woman, was brutally beaten and murdered by two white men. The two men faced charges for his death, but were eventually acquitted because America was racist back in those days. This event helped spark the Civil Rights Movement in America and helped open people’s eyes to the injustice done to African Americans by the justice system. 60 years later and people still haven’t learned. If you ever have time, look up Emmett Till and read the details of the event. It is heartbreaking. No parent deserves that to happen to their children. And for Lil Wayne to have the audacity to take this horrific event and use it as a metaphor for rough sex is sickening. This is what happens when you surround yourself with yes-men and don’t have anyone to humble you or tell you, “that’s not a good idea.” The same applies to Rick Ross. Both UOENO and Karate Chop generated controversy for those lines. They eventually apologized, but they still lost their endorsement deals with Reebok and Mountain Dew and their careers have been suffering since then. I know some of you are thinking, “there are other artists out there who said worse things like Eminem.” While Eminem is guilty of saying terrible things on record, he’s never serious about it and his style has always thrived on shock value. The same can’t be said for Lil Wayne or Rick Ross. They presented lines that they thought were cool brags or witty punchlines. Basically, these two are insensitive jackasses and anyone who tries to defend what they said are insensitive jackasses, too.
And that concludes Random WTF Lyrics.
