Welcome back to another Random WTF Lyrics where I comment on five random lyrics from five random songs. Let’s get started.
Ironic-Alanis Morrisette
Mr. Play It Safe was afraid to fly
He packed his suitcase and kissed his kids good-bye
He waited his whole damn life to take that flight
And as the plane crashed down he thought
“Well, isn’t this nice.”
And isn’t it ironic, l don’t you think
Ironic is probably the last word I would use for this kind of situation. And I’d think the guy’s last words wouldn’t be, “well, is this nice,” instead it would be more like, “AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!” followed by crashing noises.
Take Me Home Tonight-Eddie Money
Take me home tonight
I don’t want to let you go till you see the light
Till you see the light? Are you trying to convert this girl into whatever religion you’re a part of? Also, let her go, you creep. You’re acting like a baby that won’t let go of their mother’s breast.
X-ScHoolboy Q, 2 Chainz, & Saudi
Somebody’s daughter finna swallow all these children
Just handing out cream pies now, huh?
Hold You Down-DJ Khaled ft Chris Brown, August Alsina, Future, & Jeremih
And I’ll hold you down, (I’mma hold you down)
I’mma hold you down baby
Tip: if Chris Brown says he’ll hold you down, run. Run like hell. Also, this has nothing to do with the song itself, but in the music video, there’s a part where Khaled is talking to a chick, going all “You smart, you loyal” and I can’t help but laugh and cringe at the same time. You’d think he was talking to a little kid or a dog, not a grown ass woman.
Disco Tits-Tove Lo
Disco Tits.
……………………………….
I… I got nothing. It speaks for itself.
I’m sweatin’ from head to toe
I’m wet through all my clothes
I’m fully charged, nipples are hard
Ready to go
Either it’s really hot or Tove Lo popped a molly and sweating.

Or maybe she’s just a dog in heat. Could be a combination of the three.
And that was Random WTF Lyrics. No lyrics are safe.
Peace!!

Here are my suggestions:
“But then your hands talking, fingers walking, down your legs”/”Hey, there’s the faucet” (Justin Timberlake – Man Of The Woods) (what’s funny here is that he’s talking about his wife, so maybe she is a transgendered man… or maybe he’s just cheating on her with another guy)
“I love it when you call me mami”/”‘Cause you shake me like a tsunami (Alexandra Stan – Mami)
“Shoutout to all my bad girls all around the world! Not bad meaning bad but bad meaning good, you know?” (CL – The Baddest Female)
“Make it whistle like a missile bomb bomb”/”Everytime I show up, they blow up” (Blackpink – Whistle)
The two latter songs are K-Pop, so feel free to ignore them if you don’t like that genre. If you’re interested, then I’ll tell you that The Baddest Female is (ironically) very bad, while Whistle is alright in spite of some flaws.

Honestly, Hearing Chris Brown say anything nowadays in his music just further exposes his jerkish ways. He’s not even trying anymore. Additionally, that Tove Lo song…just…I can’t express any words from that one
I’m not sure if you accept suggestions, but I found a song (One I would feel falls into the “Thugs need Love too”) that I feel is worthy of being riffed on here (Or possibly a Target Practice), courtesy of the laughing joking numbnuts that is No Limit Records.
Here’s the song in question (My apologies if the link doesn’t work):

Funny read. My aunt said she laughed at your 1976 worst list saying there were so many dumb, sappy songs in the 70s and doesn’t understand how they got popular. She feels that people then were still living in the 1950s mindset given the 50s nostalgia at the time like how we’re all nostalgic for the 90s now. A family friend also mentioned how Afternoon Delight was being played constantly on the radio.
I was wondering for your future lists especially for the 60s if you can include songs on both the worst and best lists that peaked in the Top Ten and at number one but didn’t make the Year-End List those years aside from the usual Year-End songs?

Probably not only because I want to stick to the songs that made the Year End list.

Ironic was the 72nd best song of the 1990’s.
